EPARCHITECTS

EP Architects is an architectural design practice, offering counseling in the field of architecture, urban, interior and industrial design, providing State of the Art designs inspired by socio-cultural and environmental parameters and innovative technological advancements. Each project is approached in a visionary way, as a territory transformed by the parameters of urban and physical context, programmatic and interior requirements, materiality and tectonics. Essential for the firm’s methodology is the development of advanced design techniques that introduce sustainability design ideas and structural parameters in the form-finding process of projects’ morphology. Research is integral part of the firm’s methodology incorporating information from other disciplines from the early stages of the design development integrating construction techniques and structural parameters in architectural design.

EP Architects received seven awards in international architectural competitions including three 1st awards and many more distinctions in competitions held by architectural institutions and magazines. EP Architects gained considerable international attention when the T. Papadopoulos Footbridge in Pafos received the Special Judges’ Recognition at the International 2013 MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards competition.

 

PARTNERS

ELINA PATTICHI 

Elina Pattichi holds BArch-MArch with honors from the National Technical University of Athens and March from Architectural Association, Design Research Laboratory. She is founder of EP Architects. She has received several awards for EPArchitects design including including two 1st awards for T. Papadopoulos Footbridge and for the Social Housing in Pano Polemidia of Cyprus Land Development Corporation. Her work has been published in international journals, magazines, conferences and exhibitions including  Architectural Review, Perspective conference and Biennale of young architects. Her studies in NTUA and the AA were funded by scholarships from the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation and A.G. Leventis Foundation.

 

TAULANT TOZAJ 

Taulant Tozaj holds BArch-MArch from the National Technical University of Athens and he is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG). Taulant is partner at EPArchitects where he has contributed in their design achievements with his experience that ranges across hospitality, residential, commercial, cultural and interior design. He received several awards in international architectural competitions including two 1st awards in Sparta Museum and for the Social Housing in Pano Polemidia of Cyprus Land Development Corporation.

 

MARIA SHIAKALLI 

Maria Shiakalli holds BArch-MArch from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has a long experience in the design and construction of residential, education and retail developments.
